CUT GEOMETRY
Because we use a rotating tool, the corners of machined shapes come out rounded in proportion to the tool size.
Sharper corners are possible using smaller tools, but this increases our processing time and cost.

THREADING
Instead of drilling plain holes and using nuts when mounting components such as connectors and cable glands to enclosures, we can also thread the enclosure surface with special tools. You can find the thread sizes and pitches we offer in metric and PG standards in the table.

Pool milling to the desired depth

Pool milling can also be performed on metal surfaces.
Press-fit nuts, screws, and standoffs are components that enable stronger and more durable assembly of all types of devices and circuit boards. Specially manufactured press-fit nuts, screws, and standoffs are pressed with high pressure into pre-drilled holes on soft metal using a special press.

FILE PREPARATION
You can send us your CNC machining instructions in different formats.
If you do not have a technical drawing, you can send us a sample of the relevant product. The necessary drawings will be prepared by us based on the sample and sent to you for approval.
If you send us the components to be mounted on the enclosure (circuit boards, connectors, terminal blocks, LCD screens, etc.) along with the sample enclosure during production, we can check the component fits during the first production run and adjust the machining dimensions and tolerances to match the samples.
Please ensure the file scale is 1:1.

When dimensioning a technical drawing, determine the center point and provide dimension values, or provide measurements from points on the enclosure that can be measured with calipers.

Although our CNC machines have high precision, avoid specifying very tight tolerances since plastic is a flexible material. Below you can find the general tolerances we use. For special tolerances or parts with special mounting requirements, consult with our specialists.
