Enclosure Types
Potting boxes are enclosures in which the circuit board is sealed permanently by filling the box with resin (epoxy or polyurethane). The potting compound protects the board against moisture, vibration, dust and tampering. Solidshell's PE-100 potting box is designed for this purpose.
They suit sensors, LED drivers, power supplies and small electronic modules that operate outdoors.
