Built-in EMI/RFI shielding via metallic gaskets, conductive coatings on plastic substrates, or all-metal die-cast bodies. Suppresses both ingress (radiated noise reaching the PCB) and egress (radiated emissions). Used in medical electronics, RF instruments, signal analyzers, and any high-gain analog front-end where the chassis is part of the EMC plan.
